He expressed confidence that Elvisā€™ 30-year experience in the Sarawak civil service would be instrumental in the development of Kapit, especially in ensuring the success of projects under Malaysia’s 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP).

ā€œI trust that Elvisā€™ extensive experience will benefit the advancing of the Kapit division, especially in driving the success of projects outlined under 12MP.

ā€œI hope all parties in Kapit, including community leaders and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), extend their full cooperation to him (Elvis) as he works to understand and address the needs of the people,ā€ he said.

Nanta also expressed his appreciation to Galong for his service as the previous resident of the Kapit division and wished both men continued success in their respective roles.

ā€œI wish both Elvis and Galong continued success in their respective roles, as they work towards fostering the development of their areas and contributing to the overall progress of Sarawak,ā€ Nanta added. ā€” DayakDaily
