KUCHING, June 16: Batang Sadong MP Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri has denied claims that Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz was ever part of her staff.

“He was never my staff. He is just an ex-intern. I have nothing to do with him or whatever that is happening now,” Nancy told DayakDaily today when met at the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Dayak Ministers’ Gawai Open House held at Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) headquarters here today.

Nancy, who is a former Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, said this in response to pictures being circulated on social media, linking her to Haziq, the individual who admitted in a video that he was one of the two men featured in a gay video clip which went viral on social media.

The man who claimed himself to be Haziq also alleged that the other man involved in the video was Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

In the aftermath of the video, pictures of Nancy with Haziq started circulating on social media, along with claims that Haziq, who is PKR Santubong Branch youth chief, had worked for her.

Recently, Deputy Primary Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin who came forth and acknowledged that Haziq is his senior private secretary.

Shamsul who was baffled by Haziq’s claim over the latter’s involvement in the gay sex video, suspended Haziq from his duties with immediate effect while waiting for Haziq’s reply to a show-cause letter. — DayakDaily
