Muslims in Malaysia to begin fasting on March 12

KUCHING, March 10: All Muslims in Malaysia will begin fasting in conjunction with the month of Ramadan starting Tuesday (March 12).

Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad, said the date was set by the order of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia after being consented to by the Rulers.

The announcement was broadcast live on Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) earlier tonight (March 10). — DayakDaily
