MUKAH, Jan 13: Muslims and Christians held prayers for the late Chief Minister Pehin Sri Adenan Satem here yesterday.
The late Adenan died on Jan 11, 2017, of a heart attack at the age of 72.
Some 1,000 Muslims performed ‘tahlil’ and ‘yasin’ recitations at the Setia Raja Mosque, while Christians held a special prayer session at St Paul Catholic Church.
The special event was organised by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (Mukah Zone), which is chaired by Dalat assemblywoman Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah. She is also Minister of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Child Development. — DayakDaily
