MPP to work together with local community bodies to ensure better living environment

KUCHING, June 30: Padawan Municipal Council (MPP), Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) of Kota Padawan Mile 10 and Semaba Park Neighbourhood Watch (KRT) Committee have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together to take care of the welfare of the residents in Kota Padawan, Semaba Park and surrounding areas.

According to a statement of MPP, the MoU aims to enshrine the special relationship between MPP and Kota Padawan Mile 10 JKKK and Semana Park KRT by identifying specific areas of co-operation and most importantly by committing the entities in promoting social harmony, neighbourhood communities, a healthy lifestyle and clean environment. 

This co-operation is focused on creating a better living environment for the people living in Kota Padawan, Semaba Park and surrounding areas and to maintain, improve or upgrade both recreational parks.

Semana Park KRT and Kota Padawan Mile 10 JKKK will assist MPP to monitor activities at the park and report to the Council for any unwarranted disturbance or nuisance happening and minimizing vandalism. — DayakDaily
