KUCHING, April 3: Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) will be setting up Covid-19 vaccination registration counters to help expedite the registration process for the public.

According to MPP chairman Lo Khere Chiang, other councils such as the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) and Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) will also be establishing their own vaccination registration counters in their respective jurisdiction areas.

“We are helping to register those who have not registered themselves with the MySejahtera app, because there is a small group in the community that either does not have a phone or smartphone, including the elderly who do not know how to register themselves,” Lo told reporters when visiting the Covid-19 vaccination registration counter at 3rd Mile wet market here today.

Lo added that MPP would also be opening the same registration counter tomorrow (April 4) for the community in Taman Flora Indah Basketball Court in Jalan Arang at 9am.

He revealed that the last stop for the programme will be at the 10th Mile Market next week (April 10).

“I hope those who have yet to register themselves will come forward for it. We do not have the target numbers because we want everybody to get the vaccination and hopefully everyone in Sarawak will get their jab,” he said. –DayakDaily.
