KUCHING, Sept 29: A motorcyclist was severely injured in a road accident along Jalan Selirik in Kapit last night (Sept 28).
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received a call regarding the incident at 8.18pm and deployed Bomba Kapit to the location.

The operations commander confirmed that the accident involved a sedan vehicle and a motorcycle.
The driver of the sedan vehicle was unharmed, while the motorcyslist suffered a broken right leg and injuries on his arm.
The victim was given initial medical treatment by Bomba Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) at the location before being transported to Kapit Hospital. — DayakDaily
