Motorcyclist succumbs to injuries 10 days after colliding with car

The front part of the car was badly dented as a result of the collision.

SIBU, May 3: A motorcyclist passed away 10 days after an accident at the Jalan Teng Chin Hua-Brooke Drive traffic light intersection.

In a statement, Sibu district police chief, ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the 32-year-old lorry driver died at 6pm on May 2 at Sibu Hospital where he was being treated for serious injuries.

Stanley said at about 6.40pm on April 22, a 33-year-old female clerk was driving from Teku in the direction of the town area when suddenly a motorcycle crashed into the right side of her vehicle.


“As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. However he succumbed to the injuries on May 2,” Stanley added. — DayakDaily
