KUCHING, Aug 17: A 30-year-old motorcyclist had a fatal accident after he lost control of his motorcycle and collided into a calvert pipe besides the road at Km 61, Sri Aman Road on Sunday night.
The incident happened at 11.10 pm and a team of police was dispatched to the scene.
According to State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga, the deceased was heading towards Serian at the time of the mishap.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead by the medical officer at the scene and the body was later sent to Serian Hospital.
Police have started their investigation under Section 41 of the Road Transport Act 1987. -DayakDaily
