KUCHING July 30: The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has denied issuing any message on WhatsApp that went viral, which claimed an increment in civil servants’ salaries on July 25.
According to TVS news reported by Bernama, the MoF, through its social media account, has advised the public to be cautious and not to be easily deceived by such false information.

“Visit the portal and follow the MoF’s official social media channels for the latest and most accurate information,” the ministry stated.
Previously, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had announced a 13 per cent salary increase for civil servants starting this December. — DayakDaily
