MNA pays courtesy call on Abang Johari to explore potential collaborations

KUCHING, Sept 10: The Malaysian Nuclear Agency (MNA) is keen to explore collaboration opportunities in the field of nuclear technology with the state government.

MNA director Dr Mohd Abdul Wahab Yusof today led an entourage to pay a courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at the latter’s office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia.

A press release revealed both parties discussed potential collaborations in aspects of technology and expertise in the field of nuclear science which can be adapted to various fields including education, agriculture and more.


With cooperation and professional nuclear technology participation, it was hoped such collaboration would bring many benefits to all Sarawakians.

MNA service management director Rosleezam Jamaudin, its corporate communication manager Hasfazilah Hassan, Agro Biosains director Dr Abdul Rahim Harun as well as research officers Dr Julie Andrianny Murshidi, Mohd Faizal Abd Rahman and Hazizi Omar were also present. — DayakDaily
