LIMBANG, Oct 24: A 63-year-old missing man was found dead from a suspected snakebite in Kampung Tanjung, Jalan Medamit, in the late afternoon today.
According to a statement from the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, they received a call about the missing person at 2.33pm today, and a team from Bomba Limbang was sent to the scene, led by PKB II Zakaria Mat Nor and PBK II Mohd Ali Mohd Salleh.
However, the victim was found unconscious by the Search and Rescue (SAR) team in a bush near a farm after almost two hours of searching.
The victim, however was confirmed dead by medical personal, believed to have been caused by snakebite.
The body was handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
