KUCHING, June 29: A 27-year-old man who was reported missing on June 28 at Mile 38, Bintulu to Miri Road was found on Monday evening near Simpang Bakun.
He was reported missing when he went out from his house to install snare traps to capture animals.
According to a statement from the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Operation Centre, the man failed to return home the following day (June 29).
Subsequently his family members reported the case to Bomba and a Search and Rescue (SAR) operation was held.
The man was found 10 kilometres away from Simpang Bakun at 6.15 pm and the Bomba team later returned to their station.-DayakDaily
