KUCHING, Jan 3: A 78-year-old man in Sungai Sian was found safe, ending three days of search and rescue (SAR) operations.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre in a statement today revealed the man was found at 3.03pm today, about 500 metres from his farm by the search party.
“The victim was still conscious when he was found, and was brought by the search team to the Bomba control centre, before being brought to the hospital for further action,” it revealed.
According to the statement, the victim was believed to have gone missing on Thursday (Dec 31,2020), and a missing person report was subsequently filed at the Bintangor police station on Jan 1, 2021. — DayakDaily
