KUCHING, July 14: A fisherman reported missing near Kampung Demak Baru, Kuching wasfound safe on the second day of a search and rescue (SAR) operation.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, the victim, Ong Kim Huat, 65, was found near Pulau Burung by a search team at 9.15am.

He was later brought to the operation post in Sebuyau and attended to by medical personnel from Ministry of Health (MOH).
On July 14, Ong was reported missing by a family member when he did not return home after going out to fish in a river near Kampung Demak Baru. — DayakDaily
