Miro provides RM200k allocation to build facilities for Bau’s Libuan Goru Waterfall

BAU, July 7: Serembu assemblyman Miro Simuh has allocated RM200,000 in Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) funds to implement a project at Libuan Goru Waterfall in Kampung Belimbin, Krokong here.

In a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Miro said among the proposals for the project including construction of a reservoir, toilet and washroom facility, resting huts as well as a road leading to the waterfall.

He also visited the waterfall recently to inspect the area and surroundings together with Bau District Council members, the contractor as well as Kampung Belimbin community leaders on Tuesday (July 5).

Meanwhile, the Kampung Belimbin Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) and villagers were excited for the project.

They also expressed their appreciation to Miro for the implementation of the project which will not only provide access to but beautify the waterfall area. — DayakDaily
