MIRI, March 3: A man from Miri has been reported missing after his boat capsized in Pengkalan Lobang near the Niah National Park today.
Following this, authorities launched a search and rescue operation (SAR) at 12.03pm for the missing man.
Also joining the SAR were villagers, the police, and the People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela).
According to sources, the victim was an avid fishing enthusiast who had gone to the area alone this morning to fish for prawns. — DayakDaily
