KUCHING, Dec 13: Sebauh District is set to receive a larger health clinic on a 50-acre site, according to Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom, Minister for Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development.
As reported by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), Dr Rundi, who also serves as Sebauh assemblyman, confirmed that the site for the new clinic has been identified.
“The project proposal has been submitted to the Ministry of Urban Development and Natural Resources (MUDERN) for further action,” he stated.
In addition, Dr Rundi attended the handover of medical equipment valued at RM53,000 to the Sebauh Health Clinic.
The equipment was contributed by Petronas and the Sarawak Badan Amal Tenaga Isteri-Isteri (Sabati).
The donated items include blood pressure monitors, glucometer machines, portable pulse oximeters, adjustable cervical collars, spinal boards, transcutaneous jaundice detectors, fetal dopplers, stethoscopes, and handheld otoscopes. — DayakDaily
