Minister Dr Rundi, Satok rep’s phones hacked: Public urged to be cautious of WhatsApp texts received

KUCHING, Jan 26: The phones of Minister for Modernisation of Agriculture and Regional Development Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom and Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki have been hacked, reports the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS).

In a notice issued earlier tonight on Facebook, UKAS said that several contacts from Dr Rundi and Ibrahim’s phones have reportedly received suspicious messages from their numbers via WhatsApp.

“Anyone who receives messages from their numbers is asked to exercise caution and verify with their closest contacts,” said UKAS. — DayakDaily
