KUCHING, Aug 21: The Mile 6 road along Jalan Miri-Bintulu will be partially closed on August 21 until 30 for resurfacing works.
In a statement today, the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak said the section that will be affected is between Riam Junction (SJK (C) Chung Hua San) and the Taman Tunku traffic light intersection.
According to the department, certain sections on both sides of the road will be closed alternately in the morning and evening during the construction period.
On the same note, JKRS also informed that both sides of the road along Kilometre 30 Jalan Miri-Bintulu (Bukit Song area) will be partially closed alternately from August 23 until 30 for resurfacing works.
The department apologises for the inconvenience and advises road users to be careful when passing through both roads during the construction period, including following traffic management.
Any changes involving the date, time, and work areas will be informed by the contractor involved.
