KUCHING, April 22: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for Northern Sarawak until 6pm.
Anticipated weather conditions include thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds affecting Miri (Telang Usan) and Limbang.

The warning issued at 2.45pm today remains in effect until 6pm.
A warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity greater than 20mm/hr or when bad weather is expected to last for more than an hour.
A thunderstorm warning is a short-term warning valid for a maximum of six hours for every release. — DayakDaily
