KUCHING, Nov 23: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) has announced its spring cleaning schedule for the upcoming festive season, covering Christmas, New Year, and Lunar New Year 2025, which will run from Dec 2, 2024, to Jan 25, 2025.
Residents within MBKS can make full use of the roll-on roll-off bins to be allocated at designated areas for the disposal of bulky or large waste.
MBKS Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng has urged residents to make full use of these facilities to dispose of large waste items responsibly.
“Don’t dispose of waste irresponsibly. If you miss the date in your area, locate the next designated bin location within your zone to properly discard your waste,” he emphasised during his ShallWeeTalk live session today.
Wee appealed to the public to be considerate and responsible in their waste disposal efforts, especially for bulky items.
“This is an excellent opportunity to clear out large waste items and contribute to keeping our city clean during this festive period,” he added.
