KUCHING, April 16: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) is closing its office today after two of their employees tested positive for Covid-19.
MBKS in a statement today said this decision was made to prioritise the safety and well-being of their employees and customers as well as to comply with further directives from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
āPlease be informed that MBKS Jalan Padungan will be closed on Friday (April 16) and the staff have been instructed to Work From Home (WFH) as one of the precautionary measures to stop the virus from spreading,ā it said.
The statement added the MBKS office operation will resume as usual on Monday (April 19, 2021). ā DayakDaily
