KUCHING, Dec 14: Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) is set to share about Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project during the upcoming ShallWeeTalk online session via Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng’s Facebook and YouTube channels this Saturday (Dec 16) at 1.30pm.
Wee has extended a warm invitation to Kuching residents to join the session, which he initiated since the Covid-19 pandemic with a primary objective to keep the community informed about the Council’s latest development as well as addressing various concerns and issues, particularly those within MBKS’ jurisdiction.
“The involvement of Sarawak Metro in the session is aimed at providing the public with an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the KUTS project.
“Anyone who wish to ask questions can do so during the live session. Please spread and share this invitation among your family and friends,” he encourages in a press statement today.
Wee expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Transport Sarawak (MOTS) for inviting MBKS to participate in the Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) prototype vehicle test ride along the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway recently as part of Sarawak Metro’s Proof-of-Concept (POC) exercise.
