KUCHING, Aug 7: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) has appointed one of its contractors under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to clear stagnant water and debris from the roof tiles of Tanah Puteh Health Clinic here, following a recent leakage incident caused by a heavy downpour.

According to a post by MBKS Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng on his Facebook page, although the facility falls under the management of the Ministry of Health, MBKS took proactive steps to assist in ensuring the clinic’s swift return to normal operations.

Wee, accompanied by several MBKS councillors, visited the clinic to assess the situation and provide on-site support.

Following the visit, the MBKS-appointed contractor promptly cleared stagnant water and debris from the roof tiles under its CSR initiative, offering a temporary yet effective solution to address the leakage issue.
