MATTA Fair Sarawak 2019 back next month

KUCHING, Feb 22: The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Sarawak Chapter will be holding the 14th MATTA Fair Sarawak from March 8-10 at Boulevard Shopping Mall here.

The organiser assured visitors that the fair would bring enticing offers with a vast selection of travel choices from domestic to international destinations.

“Tour packages, customised tours, irresistible airfares, and many more amazing options are waiting for MATTA Fair visitors, all under one roof.

“This year will continue our growth as exhibitors from tourism-related companies, including MATTA members, taking up 76 booths overall, compared to 72 booths at the last 13th Sarawak MATTA Fair in Sept 2018,” it said in a press release today.

It added that the fair would serve as a platform for both travel professionals and the public looking for in-depth destination information and special deals, where visitors would be able to interact directly with various tourism authorities and travel agents.

“MATTA Sarawak Chapter invites travel and tourism-related businesses to participate and engage in this fair. Participations in MATTA Fair is a feature of the tourism business and an important way to promote tourism products.

“It provides an opportunity to draw the attention of professionals and visitors to both local and international tourist product,” said the statement.

In addition, the event had received support from organisations such as Malaysia Airlines, Maswings, Royal Brunei Airlines, Borneo Adventure Tours and Travel Sdn Bhd, Suntravel Sdn Bhd, Tiger Car Rental and Tour Sdn Bhd, the Imperial Hotel, the Harbour View Hotel, the Waterfront Hotel, the Pullman Hotel, the Grand Dormani Rajah Court Hotel, Grand Margherita Hotel and SR Equatorial Sdn Bhd, as well as the Sarawak Tourism Board.

MATTA Fair Sarawak 2019 will be open from 10am to 10pm daily and admission would be free for everyone.
