KUCHING: Party Rakyat Sarawak President, Tan Sri James Masing said the violence seen at the “Nothing to Hide” is unwanted and should be condoned by any rational thinking Malaysians.

“What happened at the gathering is an embarrassment and should be condoned by any rational thinking Malaysians,” said Masing when asked to comment on Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) stand on the matter.

Masing added that any responsible Malaysians must be careful and understand that any action will generate an equal reaction.

“So please be mindful of our action because it will certainly attract both positive and negative reactions,” said Masing, while adding that finger pointing on who is the mastermind behind the fracas will not serve any good.

Last Sunday, chaos erupted during the gathering saw few individuals throwing flares, chairs, footwear and water bottles at Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the chairman for Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) while he was answering questions from participants.-dayakdaily.com
