KUCHING, May 13: A 34-year-old man sustained minor injuries after the pickup truck he was driving fell into a ravine at Jalan Temalat in Song on Monday night (May 12).
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 10.40pm and firefighters from the Song station were deployed.
Upon arrival, it was noted that the accident involved a Toyota Hilux that fell into the ravine.
“The victim managed to get out of the vehicle before firefighters arrived. He sustained minor injuries from the accident.
“Firefighters surveyed the situation to ensure it is safe, and the victim was handed over to the police to be brought to the nearest hospital,” said the report.
