KANOWIT, Oct 5: A 28-year old man has been arrested for allegedly possessing drugs and six live bullets.
Kanowit District Police Chief DSP Tega Bilong said at about 1.50am Sunday, a police team stumbled upon a man at Sungai Kanowit Bridge in Jalan Majau/Poi.
“Upon a body search, the team found a plastic bag containing the items,” he said.
Supt Tega said the Magistrate’s Court yesterday ordered that the man be remanded for investigation under Section 8(a) of the Weapons Act 1960. — DayakDaily
