KUCHING, March 10: A local man in his 20s was found dead after he was believed to have fallen from a shopping mall here today.
In a statement, Kuching district police chief ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah said an emergency call on the incident was received at 12.08am.
“Upon arrival, the man was found wearing only a pair of black trousers. Medical personnel from the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) arrived and confirmed that the man had died.
“The deceased has been brought to the SGH Forensics Department for a post-mortem examination, and the case has been classified as sudden death,” he said.
He also urged the public not to speculate on the incident out of respect for the deceased’s family.
