SARIKEI, Sept 28: A motorcyclist died in a self accident after he lost control and crashed into a drain at Jalan Hua Ee housing estate yesterday.
Sarikei District police chief, Supt Awang Arfian Awang Bujang said according to an eywitness, at about 4.30pm, the victim, Lenon Tuing, was heading home from a friend’s house when the accident happened.
“It was said that he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the roadside drain,” he said.
Supt Awang said an ambulance rushed the victim who was an administrative financial clerk to the hospital but he died on the way.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
