MIRI, Oct 14: A man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly stealing malt powder from a grocery shop in Taman Tunku here.
The alleged incident was said to have occurred around 4pm.

The suspect who is in his late 30’s was spotted stealing the malt powder pack by the shop owner via a surveillance camera installed inside the premises.
The shop owner and several workers then confronted and searched the suspect, whereupon they managed to recovered the malt powder.
According to sources, the suspect pleaded with the shop owner to release him and also promised to pay for the item.
Despites the suspect’s pleas, the shop owner handed him over to the police for questioning. — DayakDaily
