KUCHING, Dec 29: A man was left injured and pinned inside a four-wheel-drive vehicle after it collided head-on with another four-wheel drive vehicle at Jalan Bakong-Long Lama, Miri on Sunday morning.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call at 9.35am and immediately despatched a team to the scene.
At the scene, the firefighters discovered there were two victims with light injuries who managed to exit their vehicle on their own while another victim, believed to be a passenger, was still trapped inside one of the vehicles.
The firefighters managed to free the trapped victim using special equipment.
The victim suffered heavy injuries to his head and his leg and was later rushed to a hospital for further treatment. — DayakDaily
