Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, MASwings announced as official airlines for Sarawak MATTA Travel Fair 2024

KUCHING, March 1: The Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) Sarawak Chapter has declared the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) of Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, and MASWings as the official airlines for the 19th Sarawak MATTA Travel Fair 2024, scheduled to be held at The Hills, Kuching, from March 8-10.

MATTA Sarawak Chapter chairman Oscar Choo disclosed that visitors to the fair will have the opportunity to purchase a diverse range of value-for-money domestic and international holiday packages from experienced licensed tour operators, as well as MAG tickets through its appointed agents.

Choo highlighted the collaboration between Malaysia Airlines and its sister companies, Firefly and MASWings, to provide enticing deals and promotions to visitors through participating agents.


He commended the government’s initiative to increase flight frequencies, facilitating global connectivity for holiday planners.

“To enhance visitors’ experiences during the fair, MAG will be conducting a Buyers’ Contest, offering exciting flight tickets,” he announced at a press conference held at the MATTA Sarawak Chapter Office.

Choo also revealed that various other international and domestic flights, along with vouchers worth more than Malaysian Ringgits, are up for grabs.

Additionally, sponsors like SCOOT will be providing Two-Return-tickets for the Kuching-Singapore-Kuching route.

“Numerous vouchers to esteemed establishments such as Borneo Happy Farm, Damai Beach Resort, and The Waterfront Hotel, among others, will be available.

“Our MATTA Sarawak Chapter is confident that visitors will find their dream destinations among the finely selected packages offered by our members, enabling them to explore the world with confidence,” Choo expressed.

Admission to the fair is free and is open from 10am to 10pm, Friday to Sunday.
