The main objective of Kuching Love Book Association is to share storybooks with children in the rural areas and to inculcate creative storytelling, arts and crafts workshops. The association also aims to motivate young children and help them develop the love for reading.

Wee thanked the association for their donation.

“Their selfless nature is very much evident as a result of their thoughtfulness.

“Thank you for showing continuous support to MBKS. It will definitely benefit the recipients as we still need to use face masks when we are out in the public,” said Wee.

Wee also took the opportunity to remind all to remain vigilant and alert despite a decrease in Covid-19 positive cases.

“Continue to follow the SOPs (standard operating procedures) and stay updated with the latest news because we are still at war with the virus,” said Wee. — DayakDaily
