KUCHING, June 24: A man was killed in an accident that occurred at Jalan Dato Mohd Musa at Kota Samarahan today.
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 3.52pm, and firefighters from the Kota Samarahan station were deployed.
Upon arrival, it was noted that the accident involved two vehicles—a lorry driven by the victim, carrying hardware, and an Isuzu D-Max, which was carrying two adults and one child.
The passengers in the Izuzu sustained only minor injuries, while the deceased was trapped in the lorry. He was pronounced dead by Health Ministry personnel.
The deceased was handed over to the police for further action, while the passengers in the Isuzu were brought to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) after receiving initial treatment from the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS). — DayakDaily
