KUCHING, Sept 11: A lorry driver sustained injuries after a collision with a 4WD vehicle which also trapped him in the lorry near Siniawan on Jalan Bau-Kuching today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak was alerted to the accident at 5.50pm and a team of firefighters from the Bau Station was deployed to the scene.

According to the operation commander, the driver of the lorry carrying rice, though conscious, was trapped in his seat.
Meanwhile, the two male passengers of the 4WD escaped unharmed.
Firefighters successfully extricated the injured driver, who was then handed over to paramedics for medical treatment. — DayakDaily
