Lodge Group of Schools to go e-learning from Oct 30 till Nov 13

KUCHING, Oct 28:  Lodge Groups of Schools has decided to replace its physical “face to face” learning activities with e-Learning from Oct 30 to Nov 13, 2020.

The director’s circular issued today affects all levels at Lodge Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and International of Lodge Groups of Schools.


According the director’s circular, the decision was made in line with the official declaration of Kuching District as Covid-19 red zone by Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) through its media statement dated yesterday as well as to ensure the safety of Lodge community.

“The structured e-Learning timetables will be sent to all the students through their respective class teachers by tomorrow, 29 Oct,” said the circular.

It is however, pointed out that Lodge International will remain open for Year 11 and Year 12 students who are sitting for Cambridge IGCSE and AS-Level examinations this year.

Parents or guardians are to pick up the students immediately after the end of the examinations of the day.

Meanwhile, the Final School Examinations which were schedule from Nov 9, 11 or 12 to Nov 20, 2020 have been rescheduled to 16, 17 or 18 to Nov 27, 2020 depending on level or class.

“The new examination timetables will be issued via respective class teachers next week,” said the circular.
