LIMBANG, Aug 31: Limbang District Council has temporarily shut down the operation of four premises under its jurisdiction effective tomorrow (Sept 1) until Friday (Sept 3).

The affected premises are Tamu Limbang, Pasar Limbang, Medan Selera Limbang and Medan Niaga Bangkita.

The council said the closure is in light of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Limbang district.

“This is to give way for the council to conduct sanitisation at the buildings to curb the spread of Covid-19.

“Therefore, all traders and the general public are prohibited from visiting or being present at these buildings throughout the closure.

“This closure is subject to change and further instructions,” it said in a statement today. — DayakDaily
