MIRI, March 6: Minister for Transport Sarawak Datuk Lee Kim Shin has described his vaccination process today as “painless” and encouraged the community in this division to get their vaccines.

Lee was among the first batch in Miri division to receive their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

“I did not feel any thing when they injected me,” he opined.

Lee who is also Miri Division Disaster Management Committee minister in charge,  was inoculated at 3pm sharp at Eastwood Valley Gold and Country Club here.

Also seen receiving their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine were Assistant Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Sebastian Ting and Telang Usan Assemblyman Dennis Ngau.

“I am feeling well, don’t afraid to get vaccinated,” Lee pointed out.

Upon the completion of the process today, Lee was given a vaccine card, a proof that he has been vaccinated and a reminder date for his second vaccination.

“My second shot would be on March 27,” he said.

Hence, he urged the public in Miri to get their vaccines as soon as possible.

“Do register for the vaccination on MySejahtera or to the nearest district offices or head villages for those residing in the longhouses,” he said.

Commenting on today’s inoculation programme, Lee expressed his satisfaction with the whole process.

“It went smoothly,” he said. — DayakDaily
