KUCHING, Sept 12: A motorcycle fire broke out late last night (Sept 11) at Lorong Pisang Barat 20 in Kuching, resulting in one individual being sent to the hospital.
According to a statement from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak, the incident was reported at 11.28pm, and firefighters from the Batu Lintang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP Batu Lintang) were despatched to the scene, arriving at 11.31pm.
The fire involved a single motorcycle that had been involved in a self-accident. Using one hose reel, firefighters successfully extinguished the flames.
The firefighters managed to bring the fire under control by 11.43pm, with the entire operation concluding by 11.50pm.
The 25-year-old rider was handed over to the ambulance team for further medical treatment. — DayakDaily
