JULAU, Nov 5: Incumbent Julau MP Datuk Larry Sng thinks he is the best candidate to bring dynamism to Julau.
He said this to reporters at the old Julau district office here after nomination today.
“Looking at the voters today, they want someone new, in the sense that someone who can bring dynamism to Julau. And I believe I’m the best candidate for that,” he said.
Not at all moved by former Julau MP Datuk Joseph Salang’s comeback, Sng, who is also Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) president, said he is willing to take on any challengers.
He reminded that Salang “is not back yet” as they both remain as candidates for the coming national polls, which will be held on Nov 19.
Confident in retaining the seat, Sng said voters are free to compare his ‘report card’ of the last four years to Salang’s, which is for the previous 20 years.
Meanwhile, on party issues, Sng said the question on leadership has so far been settled, and the focus now is to deliver seats for PBM. — DayakDaily
