KUCHING, Oct 12: La Promenade Mall by Hock Seng Lee (HSL) has today announced the opening of public registration for its School Holiday Night Run scheduled for Dec 10, with an early bird price of only RM50 per person.
The first 100 participants will also get RM10 vouchers to spend at the mall.
There are two run categories, namely 3km and 6km. All participants will get event tees which include kids’ sizes,as well as finisher medals and blinkers.
La Promenade Mall corporate communications manager Sophia Ong said the December night run follows on from their successful La Promenade Fitness Weekend in May which drew 1,350 participants.
“We received a lot of positive feedback from families, so we thought, let’s do a school holiday event too.
“Both 3km and 6km routes will be within La Promenade making it possible for families with strollers to participate,” she said in a statement today.
The event will also see a Best Dressed Category, just like the Fitness Weekend, and a lucky draw with attractive prizes from family meals at the mall’s restaurants to electronic items.
The co-organisers for the event is notable Kuching marathoner Anthony Lee, City Joggers Club and Sains, the Sarawak government’s technology solutions provider.
