KUCHING, April 20: A Kuching-born content creator’s video earned a specific mentioned by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin during his additional Prihatin Package announcement recently.

Nur Khairanie Nasya Jasni, the public relation and communication executive of SukaSuka, a social media page that uploaded the video, said the footage showing a man competing in a bicycle race against a stuffed toy inside a house has drawn over 1 million views within two weeks.

The video entitled “Hari ke-17: Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan” (Day 17: Movement Control Order) was produced by a Kuching-born content creator fondly known as Harun, and was uploaded on SukaSuka Facebook page a day prior to the announcement.

She added that Harun, 26, when contacted by SukaSuka, said at the time, he was alone at home and was only accompanied by his brother’s toys.

“So, I shot the video just to have some fun and I didn’t expect it to go viral. The idea came to me out of the blue.

“It seems easy but as I started recording the scenes, I realised it was actually harder especially the falling scene. Now that it is enjoyed by many, the effort was worthwhile,” said Harun.
