KUCHING, Aug 27: The Kuching Light and Flower Festival (KLFF) 2026 returns on a larger scale this year, with the Kuching Botanical Gardens serving as the main venue for the festival’s third edition.

According to the Kuching North City Commission (DBKU), KLFF 2026 will run from Aug 26 to Sept 16, following the encouraging response to its previous two editions.

According to TVS news, the festival was officially launched by DBKU director Ramzi Abdillah last night (Aug 26).

Among the main attractions is LUNA Lights Wonderland, which offers visitors an immersive experience featuring colourful lighting installations and visual decorations.

DBKU said the new venue, unlike previous editions held around the Kuching Waterfront, provides a more spacious setting for a wider range of attractions and activities throughout the festival.

Visitors can also browse and purchase flowers and ornamental plants, while enjoying a food bazaar, food trucks, flower exhibitions and various family-friendly activities.

LUNA Lights Wonderland will continue until Sept 27, allowing visitors more time to experience the light-themed attraction.

KLFF 2026 is open daily from 7pm to midnight, with the public invited to enjoy the festival with family and friends.

DBKU said the festival is also part of its efforts to enliven the city while creating more vibrant and engaging public spaces for the community. — DayakDaily
