KUCHING, Dec 26: Kuching regained top position as the district with the highest number of new Covid-19 cases after reporting eight cases today as Sarawak logs 24 new infections overall today.
In a statement today, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said Sibu and Lawas had six and five new cases respectively.
Yesterday (Dec 25), Sibu and Lawas were at the top of the list with eight cases each, as Kuching and Miri only recorded three cases each.
Additionally, Sarikei reported only two cases while Miri, Kapit and Tatau recorded only one case each.
Thirty-three other districts in Sarawak did not record any new cases today.
All infections reported today were in Category 1 (no symptoms) and Category 2 (mild symptoms).
There are no new deaths or active clusters in Sarawak today. ― DayakDaily
