KUCHING, May 7: The vendor applications for Kuching Festival 2022 is now open, says Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng.
He said the forms are now available at Counter 9 of the MBKS office.
“The vendor application is already open, and the closing date is on May 18. So, for those interested, you may start applying,” he said during his ShallWeeTalk Facebook live session today.
On the same topic, Wee said more details would be revealed in a press conference scheduled next week.
He hinted that there would be a ‘Kuching Got Talent’ programme associated with the Kuching Festival.
This year’s Kuching Festival has been confirmed to start on July 29, but will differ from previous years, as it will be extended to a longer period of time to avoid overcrowding.
The festival venue would be expanded as well so that there is sufficient space for proper social distancing for public safety. — DayakDaily
