KUCHING, Nov 20: Sarawak’s surplus budget tabled by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is innovative, strategic, and revolutionary in terms of revenue re-engineering, says Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap Yau Sin.
According to Yap, it is a prudent expenditure for maximum benefits to every Sarawakian based on science, technology, and big data.
“In our transition into a green and digital economy, the budget covers every aspect of our quest to become a developed nation, from balanced resource allocations to human capital development,” he said.
Yap was commenting on the Sarawak Budget 2024, unveiled by Abang Johari during the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting today.
He also emphasised that the Sarawak Budget 2024 caters to all where no one is left behind.
“It continues to strengthen Sarawak’s robust, resilient and strong economy that all Sarawakians can be proud of,” he said. — DayakDaily
