The Kota Sentosa assemblyman today marked the official completion of a Sarawak government RTP project amounting to RM100,000.

The project, managed and supervised by MBKS, focused on the upgrading works of Masjid Darul Barakah at Taman Satria Jaya BDC here.

The ceremony saw the deputy mayor, Dr Zaiedi Suhaili, representing MBKS, formally hand over the site of the completed upgrading works to the mosque’s chairman, Sebi Abang, in the presence of Yap.

Yap expressed his gratitude towards the contractor and the MBKS officers for their excellent work in overseeing the project, ensuring it was completed on schedule and to a high standard.

He emphasised the importance of such projects in enhancing community facilities and improving the quality of life for residents.

“I hope the completed upgrading work at the mosque will provide a more conducive venue for the congregation to attend prayers,” Yap stated. — DayakDaily
