KUCHING, July 24: Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap has handed over a Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant of RM100,000 to upgrade facilities of Tadika Dewan Perniagaan Batu 7.
The allocation was part of his encouragement towards the management of the 7th Mile Chamber of Commerce to continue their efforts and contribution to providing a good preschool foundation to children of the Kota Sentosa constituency.
In his speech, he reiterated his commitment to continue channelling assistance for preschool education in Kota Sentosa as he believed foundational learning is critical to provide the essential basic building blocks to enable all children to reach their fullest potential and participate in society as valuable citizens in future.
He recently handed over the MRP grant to the organisation’s chairman Kuan Jee Hen when officiating the kindergarten’s colouring and drawing competition in conjunction with Sarawak Day.
